A hallmark event at Golf de Saint-Germain, the Coupe des 3 Générations perfectly embodies the spirit of family, tradition, and togetherness that has defined the Club for over a century.
Held this year on Sunday, May 25, 2025, this unique competition brings together teams of three family members — grandparents, parents, and children — for a memorable day of sport and shared emotion on the Club’s courses.
Played in threesome stroke play, the event offers two formats:
18 holes on the Grand Course, reserved for teams with a combined index below 30.4;
9 holes on the Genêts Course, more accessible yet equally strategic.
Each generation contributes to the team’s overall performance, in an atmosphere of fair play and camaraderie that lies at the heart of the competition. The best gross and net scores are rewarded during a friendly prize-giving ceremony at the Clubhouse, in keeping with Saint-Germain’s long-standing golfing tradition.
Beyond the sporting challenge, the Coupe des 3 Générations is a true celebration of family golf, blending the joy of play, sporting elegance, and the timeless values of heritage and transmission.
Entries: open to all families meeting the eligibility criteria, subject to availability (24 teams on the Grand Course, 16 on the Genêts Course).
A highlight of the Club’s sporting calendar, the Grand Prix de Saint-Germain stands among the most prestigious amateur tournaments in France. Listed on the national federation’s official schedule, it brings together each year the elite of French golf along with numerous international players on the renowned Harry S. Colt course — considered one of the most beautiful layouts in the country.
The 68th edition will take place on 29, 30 and 31 August 2025, welcoming the finest amateur golfers, licensed with the French Golf Federation or a recognised foreign federation.
Played in stroke play over 54 holes, the event unfolds across three rounds:
Friday, 29 August – Round 1
Saturday, 30 August – Round 2
Sunday, 31 August – Final round, following a cut after the first 36 holes (42 men and 15 women, ties included).
Ladies play from the blue tees, while gentlemen compete from the white tees.
The Men’s and Ladies’ Grand Prix titles are awarded to the players achieving the best aggregate gross scores over 54 holes. Special prizes also honour the top Mid-Amateur performances. In the event of a tie for first place, a sudden-death play-off is held over holes 1, 9, 10, and 11, ensuring a thrilling finish worthy of the tournament’s reputation.
The prize-giving ceremony, held in the clubhouse, celebrates the winners’ achievements and the quality of play on a demanding yet magnificent course — one that continues to embody the values of excellence, elegance, and sporting tradition at Golf de Saint-Germain.
Now firmly established in the Club’s sporting calendar, the Saint-Germain Seniors’ Trophy returns for its third edition on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 July 2025.
Open to amateur players aged 50 and over, this national event welcomes those who wish to combine sporting challenge, camaraderie, and golfing tradition on an exceptional course designed by Harry S. Colt.
Played in stroke play over 36 holes, the Trophy brings together around 100 participants, including some of the finest senior golfers in France as well as international players eager to experience the unique charm of Saint-Germain’s course. Ladies compete from the red tees, gentlemen from the yellow tees, in a format that rewards both strategy and precision.
The leaderboard honours the best gross scores in both the men’s and ladies’ categories, with a sudden-death play-off held in case of a tie for first place — ensuring a thrilling and memorable conclusion every year.
The prize-giving ceremony, held at the clubhouse immediately after play, crowns two days dedicated to sportsmanship, fellowship, and elegance — values that have always been at the heart of Golf de Saint-Germain.
