Sport at Saint-Germain

Saint-Germain is a family club. Our ethos is to support the great traditions of the game with many single and foursome competitions for all member,  young and  not so young.

The golf school, run by three pros and one assistant pro, supports about 100 under-sixteens who practice on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. From the age of six, children join small groups and start playing on the Genets course.

The Club Palmares show how keen the young members are and how proud we are of their achievements.

The club teams represent the club in 1st division championship. Its mid-am for Ladies Team won the French championship  in first division, in 2013 and Perrine Gouin won the Ladies Coupe de France in  2014.

At the beginning of September, the club stages the Grand Prix de Saint-Germain, one of the most prestigious competition in France. 110 participants with handicaps of less than 2 play compete for three days.  By hosting this competition, the club maintains a close relationship with the Fédération Française de Golf, demonstrating that it can organise major tournaments.

Golf is not the only sport  at St Germain.  There are tennis courts  next to the practice.

Children can join a Mini-Club from the age of 3. They have indoors activities,  play games such as football or table tennis or enjoy the outdoor playground.  They are looked after by a team of qualified carers. Under the age of three, a baby-sitter is required.
